Soluble Silicates Consortium

purpose & invitation

To comply with the new regulation it is required to submit to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) extensive technical dossiers about each substance. For more than 2 decades the Members of the CEES (Centre Européen d’Etudes des Silicates) have jointly worked to develop health & safety data and have participated in a number of international safety programmes, e.g. HPV/OECD SIDS Program and HERA.

Given this, it was decided to form a consortium outside of the CEES sector group, with the purpose of registering under REACH all materials covered by the association’s work in the past. These substances are listed below. Membership in the consortium does not grant any rights to data or information owned by CEES, and will not constitute any membership in CEES itself.

Interested companies have to decide on several options to cooperate. These companies are invited to contact the consortium under to get more information about those options.
